25-06-2004 - Finally a
bus service that connects Subang Jaya, USJ and Puchong. This new service
provided by Uptownace Sdn Bhd started on 29/05/2004.
What this means is that you
will be able to board a bus near USJ23 and get to almost every significant
part of Subang Jaya, Bandar Sunway, USJ and Puchong.
The buses will start their journey from
behind Carrefour in Subang Jaya (KTM Komuter Station) proceed to Subang
Jaya, Sunway Pyramid, Summit, Taipan1 and Taipan2. It will then pass in
front of USJ23 via the LDP and thereafter to Tesco and the IOI Mall in
Puchong.
The return journey will start from the LDP
passing Pusat Bandar Puchong and Taman Bukit Puteri before proceeding to
Puchong Perdana and passing once again in front of USJ23 as they makes
their way back to Subang Jaya.
The frequency of the buses is once every
1/2 hour from 6.30am till Midnight. Both air-conditioned and non
air-conditioned buses are used. The fare is 80 sen and 70 sen
respectively.
A spokesman from the company revealed that
the response so far has been "quite encouraging"
