On 18th February 2005, USJ23 became the first
member of the Neighbourhood Watch Community in
USJ to launch its own USJ23 SMS Alert
Service for all its Residents.
Seen as a logical extension of the Neighbourhood
Watch Scheme started at the end of 1999 which
includes Night Patrolling, Guard Services or
just neighbours looking out for each other. We
hope to develop better participation amongst our
Residents through the sharing of knowledge and
information in real-time.
With this new service, we can now send SMS
Messages directly to all registered Residents'
Mobile Phones within a very short period of
time. This would come in very handy when there
is an emergency in our Taman and/or when we need
to share information with Residents.

- It was the last that we saw of the old guard house that had served us so
well for over 2 years.
Thanks to the kind co-operation of all the residents, we now have a
new
Community Center cum Guard House.
