Fun-filled
annual
gathering for
USJ23
residents
DINO, the green
Giant Supermarket mascot, turned up at the USJ23 residents association's
Get-Together 2002, which was held near the guardhouse at USJ 23/4
recently.
The fun-filled annual gathering saw adults winning lots of prizes,
including rice cookers, hampers, table fans and toasters, in the lucky
draw while children were given packs of sweets, goodies, ice cream and
balloons.
The items were sponsored by USJ Giant, Nestle Products Sdn Bhd and
individual contributors.
During his welcome speech, the residents' association's president,
Yee Foon Kong, thanked the night watch pro-tem committee for their
dedication and commitment.
He said the area had been enjoying a 100 per cent crime free
environment for the past two years, thanks to the efforts of the
night-watch team.
Yee urged other residents to offer their services for night-watch
duty so that they could maintain this record.
"We need the full support of everyone to ensure that the night
watch continues," |
