USJ23
residents donation to Pure Life Society
(Homes for Orphans
and Underprivileged Children).
On 09/06/02 residents of USJ23 visited this society and donated RM
1,500.00 to their cause. The contribution comes from the monthly Paper
Lama, Old Newspaper Recycle Program. Thanks to all USJ23 residents to
make this happen.

Lunar New Year Celebration –Get-Together
This function was held on 09/03/02, and was very well attended by USJ23
residents. It met with great success, and we even had our neighbouring
NW groups committee members from USJ16, USJ17 and USJ18 present at our
function. We would like to thank all USJ23 Chinese residents for their
generous contribution to make this function possible.

We would like to record our sincere thanks to Mr. Loi Sai Aik for his
great contribution as a USJ 23 NW and Neighbourhood committee member, as
well as a Row Leader for USJ 23/5A. He is giving up his post, due to his
job posting from Klang Valley. All the very best in your new posting.

At the same time, we would like to welcome Mr. KK Chua, as the new Row
Leader for USJ 23/5A, as well as a Committee member into the USJ 23 NW
and Neighbourhood Pro-Tem committee.

Hanif Izham has been appointed by USJ
23 Residents and NW Neighbourhood Pro Tem committee 2001 as the Row
Leader for USJ 23/3A. Henceforth he will be the representative for USJ
23/3A.

A very successful Hari Raya Open House
"makan" was organized by USJ 23 Muslim residents on 05/01/2002, and
attended by residents of all races, and it was truly a Muhibbah
gathering. Syabas to the organizers especially Mohd. Roslan Ali, Samsad
and Ismail Yusri
-
Effective 01/01/2002, USJ 23 security
services is being provided by FOSS SECURE SERVICES. The previous
security co. TSS Security services have being terminated as from
31/12/2001, due to unsatisfactory performance.
-
Dialogue was held with Mr. Yap Yun Fatt (MPSJ
Councilor) on 04/01/2002 with USJ 23 residents .
